the City Council of the Oity of Burlingame does
hereby resolve and declare its intention to vacate a portion
of Carolau Avenue, a street in said City, as per ivap thereof
on file in the office of the City .agiieer, to which reference
is hereby made for further particulars, and which portion of
said street proposed to be vacated is described as follows:
That portion of Oarolau avenue which fronts on the
southwesterly line of Lot 13, Block 10, as said Lot and Block
is shown on that certain map entitled "Burlingame Gardens,
3urlingame, Calif." recorded May 15, 1940 in hook 22 of iiaps
at pages 66 and 67, and more particularly described as follows:
3egiiwing at the southwesterly corner of Lot 13,
Block 10, Burlingame Gardens Subdivision as above described
thence on and along the northwesterly boundary of said
Subdivision S 29° 07' 'st 19.31 feet; thence S 62°26' � 60.95 feet
to the southwesterly line of said Lot 13, Bloc$ 10, thence on
and along the southwesterly line of Lot 13 in a northwesterly
direction along the are of a curve to tiie left having a radius
of 150.00 feet an arc distance of 63.92 feet to the point of
beginning and containing 732.00 square feet of land ruore or less,
and that the foregoing portion of said street is unnecessary
for present or prospective street purposes.
Be it further resolved that the Oity Council does
hereby elect to proceed herein pursuant to the provisions to
the utreet and Highway Oode of the State of California, as
set f)ith in Division 9, Part 3, thereof.
BE IT FURUER RESULTO that koaday, the sixteenth day
of July, 1945, at the hour of eight o'clock F. 1L. of said day
at the Council Room of the City Council of the City of
Burlingame , located in the City Hall, 267 lark ?toad, in said
City, be and the same are hereby fixed as the time and place
when and where all persons interested in or oojecting to the
proposed vacation may appear and be heard.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVhD that this ?resolution be
published and Notice of the hearing be given in the time and
manner required by law.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of urliagame
held on Londay, June 18, 1945, and was adopted oy the following
vote:
