.7HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame
is interested in a site for a living war memorial and that the
area in the proximity of the Maritime School at Coyote Point
would be appropriate for a building to be used in conjunction
with the existing Yacht Harbor and the Golf Course, thereby
creating a public recreational center at this location:
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council
of the City of Burlingame does hereby recomimnd to the San
Mateo County Planning Commission, that the area consisting of
nine (9) acres, more or less, South of the Maritime School
and adjoining the Yacht Harbor, be chosen as a site for a
living war memorial, now contemplated.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be forwarded to the San Mateo County Plannin> Commission.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Burlingame held on. .June. 18,.1945... by the following vote:
