San -,-too County, knovn as ;;.a Buta-no orost, to ' e used as a Stc.<:o -

Mh73REAS, the said Butano Forest consists of a fine stand of
'redwood Trees vri:ich is a aonument to the ages; a source of pleasure for
the seople and an asset in general to the State Park s,-stein of the State
of California; and,
M=EAS, the said City Council urge that the purchase of the
:e.id Butane Forest by tho State of California should be consw gated;
NOW, therefore; be it resolved at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Lurlingane, held on April 1 1945, it rras
resolved that over;;, effort be made to urge the passage of
',ly Dill 1304, by the legislature of the State of California and
the approval thereof, by tho Govornor;
it ._urther resolved that a copy of this resol;;ti z. be se^t
.!,a Senator and Assemblyman representing the County of San IT.atco,
urging then to use every effort to secure the passage and approval of
the aforesaid bill.
