AUTHORIZING EMPLOYMENT OF JOSEPH J. PHILLIPS TO
NEGOTIATE FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY FOR THE
IMPROVEMENT OF THE EXTENSION OF CAROLAN AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council has entered into an Agreement
with Joseph J. Phillips, wherein and whereby it is agreed that
said Phillips shall be employed for the purpose of negotiating
for the purchase of real property in the City to be used for
the opening and improvement of a proposed street to be known
as the extension of Carolan Avenue and have agreed upon the
terms of such employment and said Agreement has been reduced to
writing and a copy thereof is attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said Agreement
with Joseph J. Phillips be executed by the City and the Mayor
is hereby authorized for, and in behalf of the City Council, to
attach his signature and execute said Agreement.
