WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame
on November 4, 1946 adopted Resolution No. 40-46, which among
other matters therein provided, also fixed the effective time
limitations for the use of parking meters; and,
I'VEREAS, some question has arisen as to whether or
not Saturday from 12 o'clock noon to six o'clock P. M. is to
be classified as a holiday within the purview of Ordinance No. 428,
of the City of Burlingame, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of removing all
doubt or equivocation as to this question:
NO`."d, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Burlin,^;ame does hereby resolve and order that the provisions of
Ordinance No. 428 of the City of Burlingame shall be effective on
Saturday from 12 o'clock noon until six o'clock p. M., unless
Saturday is such a holiday as specified in the first paragraph
of Section 10 of the Political Code of the State of California;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be
published twice a week for two successive weeks in the Burlingame
Advance, a newspaper of general circulation.
