AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF GAS TAX FUNDS
FOR TREE TRIP:TAING OUTSIDE OF THE CORPOR-
ATE LIT41TS OF THE CITY
I'MEREAS, the Project Agreement with the Department of Public
Vorks of the State of California, for the 1948 fiscal year provides
riong other affairs, for the trimming and removal of trees on the
E1 Camino Real, as more particularly set forth in Project No. 27
:)f said Agreement, and that some of the work will, of necessity,
De done outside o' the corporate limits of the City; and
M,EREAS, the Division of Highways has set up and authorized
the expenditure of the sum of E39,000.00 from the one -quarter cent
gas tax funds to be used for tree trimming and removal, and the
7ity Engineer has estimated that of said amount, the sum of $2,500.
Rill be necessary to do the work of trimming and removal outside
Df the corporate limits of the City;
NOIV, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Burlingame
foes hereby order that the sum of ~2,500.00 of the one -quarter cent
,as tax fund be expended on the removal and tree trimming of the
trees on the E1 Camino Real outside the corporate limits of the
7ity of Burlingame.
