ACCEPTING .BID OF FRAME 71, SMITH FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION Or A REINFORCED CONCRETE
CULVERT TO CARRY STORI':WATERS: THE PROPOSED
CONSTRUCTIOIi LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE
POLICE STATION AND ITEVAR 260 PRIMROSE ROAD

WHEREAS, THE CITY OF BURLINGAIrM, by and through its
Director of Public Works invited bidders to subr._it bids for
the construction of a reinforced concrete culvert to carry
storm water; the proposed construction to be located at the
rear of the Police Station near 260 Primrose Road, in the
City of Burlingame; and
WHEREAS, bids were received until eight p.m., on
I,ionday, October 17, 1949, at which time the said bids were
publicly opened and it was found that :'rank 17. Smith was the
lowest bidder;
NOW, --=FOR., BE IT RESCLVED, by the City Council of
the City of Burling
ame that the bid of Franl:W. Smith to
construct and complete according to specifications the
construction of a 4 by 12 foot single box culvert, 100 feet
in length, with appurtenant manholes, back fill, etc.,
according to the specifications referred to in the invitation
to -bidders, be, and the same is hereby* accepted for the sum
of y�P4,448.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the I4ayor for and on behalf
of the City of BurlinTanie, sign the agreement providin`• for
the improvement herein mentioned.
