HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 041-1949RESOLUTION NO. 41 - 49 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF Ali AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TELETYPEWRITER SERVICE. S THE County of San Mateo, through the office of the Sheriff, contemplates the establishment of a teletypewriter service between the office of the Sheriff and the municipal Police Departments of the County of San Mateo, for the purpose of aiding in the detection of crime and the apprehension of criminals and the prosecution of criminal cases; and WHEREAS, after an investigation made by the Chief of the Police Department of the City of Burlingame and upon his recommendation that the service will be of material benefit to the Police Department of the City, and the City Council deeming it to be of an advantage; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Burlingame, do hereby resolve and order that the City enter into the Agreement, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution, providing for the teletypewriter service therein mentioned, and that the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute said Agreement for and in behalf of the City of Burlingame.
