URGING PASSAGE OF SENATE BILL NO. 1123
PROVIDING FOR THE RESTORATION OF MARKERS
ALONG THE EL CAMINO REAL
WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 1123, introduced at the present
Session of the Legislature, provides for the re-establishment
of Marker Bells along the E1 Camino Real; and
WHEREAS, such Markers commend themselves not only as
direction indicators, but also as decorative features;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
of the City of Burlingame at a regular meeting held on March
7, 1949, express its approval of the action to restore the
"Mission Bells" on the hl Camino Real; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be forwarded to Senator Harry L. Parkman and Assemblyman
Richard J. Dolwig with a request that they lend their support
in securing the passage of Senate Bill No. 1123.
