FIXING TIME AND DIRECTING NOTICE OF' HEARING OF
THE PETITION OF PLITINSULA HOSPITAL DISTRICT, A
LOCAL HOSPITAL DISTRICT IN THE COUNTY OF SAN
,KhTEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING kNNEXA-
TION TO TIM CITY OF BURLINGAM.E OF CERTAIN NEW
UNINHABITED TERRITORY
WhEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Council
of the City of Burlingame requesting the annexation to the city
of certain new uninhabited territory, the boundaries of which
are in said petition and hereinafter described, and which is
designated as "Peninsula Hospital District" and which new
territory is situated in the County of San I,1ateo, State of
California, and is contiguous to the City of Burlingame; and
WHEREAS, said "Peninsula Hospital 'District," a local
hospital district is the sole ovrner of the land of said area to
be annexed and the assessed value of said land on the last
equalized assessment roll of the County of San 1,Iateo is
twenty-five thousand seven hundred (�25,700.00) dollars;
NOPq, THEREFORE, Monday, the 15th day of January, 1951,
at the hour of eight ofelock, p,m., in the Council chambers in
the City Hall of the City of Burlingame, County of San Piateo,
State of California,is hereby fixed as the time and place when
and where any person objecting to the proposed annexation may
appear and be heard by the City Council of the City of
Burlingame, and show cause why such territory should not be
annexed.
Tile territory herein referred to is in the County,* of San
Mateo, State of California, and particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most northerly corner of Lot 1,
Block 3, as shown on that certain map entitled
"Ray Park, Burlingame, California," which was
filed for record on April 16, 1941, in Volume 23
of Naps, at pages 45 through 48, San I,iateo County
Records; thence from said point of beginning N.370
491 36" E. 10.03 feet to a point on the south-
westerly line of El Camino Beal; thence along said
southwesterly line of E1 Camino Real northerly
on the arc of a curve to the right whose radius
is 2240 feet and whose central angle is 4009,01"
an arc distance of 162.26 feet to a concrete Mills
Estate monument marked &I. E. 24.8, the radial line
to which bears S. 45034156" W; thence IT. 44024122"
W. 639.53 feet; thence leaving said southwesterly
line of El Camino Real S. 40049145" 1'i. 1207.42
feet; thence S. 4404414U" E. 930.00 feet to a
point on the northwesterly boundary of said Ray
Park. thence along said northwesterly boundary of
Ray Park id. 280 011 E. 375.85 feet, IT. 37050,
20" E. 833.16 feet and IT. 370491 36" E. 9.97 feet
to the point of beginning and containing 23.267
acres of land more or less.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution
be published at least once a week for two weeks prior to the
hearing in the Burlingame Advance, a newspaper of general
circulation published in the City.

the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 18th day of December, 1950, and
adopted thereafter by the following vote:
