HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 022-1950RES0LUTION NO. 22-50 ALIENDING RESOLUTION ADOPTED July 6, 1943 VEEAS, on July 6, 1943, the City Council of the City of Burlingame adopted a Resolution under the twhich of hich the City Treasurer was directed to deposit all monies deducted from pay of municipal employees for Income Tax purposes, in a separate account with the Burlingame Branch of the Bank of America, National Trust and Savings Association, in a special account designated "Income Tax Account for the benefit of the Commissioner of Internal-Hevenue"; and WHEREAS., the United States Treasury department has changed the existing procedure by directing that all deposits of any withheld to:Les be sent directly to the _'�ederal Reserve Bank at San rancisco, California; NOa, T'?Ei�ErroRE, be it Resolved and it is hereby ordered that from and after the date of the passage of this ?resolution, any and all :monies with held for federal Taxes or Contributions, shall be deposited directly with the-ederal Reserve Bank at San lil�anci.sco, pursuant to the forms and in the manner prescribed by the Commissioner of Internal Revenue of the United States.
