ORDERING DESTRUCTION OF i1OXIOUS AND DANGEROUS
WEE'f)S AND RUBBISH A NUISANCE IN THE CITY Or

RESOL IED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
21EREAS, the City Council of the City of on
February 6, 1950, at a regular meeting of said Council, adopted
a Resolution declaring certain {reeds -rowing upon various streets,
squares, lanes, alleys, avenues, courts and places within said
municipality and upon private property within said municipality,
and ,;hich said weeds bear seeds of ,vingy or downy nature and
with such large growth as to become a fire Menace when dry, and
are otherwise obnoxious and dangerous, and all r ubbis'_i, refuse
or dirt on parkways, side,aalks or private property to constitute
a public nuisance; and,
, 11EREAS, said Resolution fixed 1 onday, the 6th day of
Yarch, 1950, at the hour of ei ;rit o'clock .?; . of said day, at
the Council chambers of the City Council of the City of
Burlin game, located in the City Hall of said City, as the time
and place when objections to the proposed removal of such weeds
shall be heard and given due consideration; and,
j�"TT3!R,liS, it appears from the Affidavit of the Street
Maintenance 7ore-I--ran of said City that notice of said hearing has
been given for the time and in the manner and form provided by
law; and
WHI '.raAS, it appearing that no objections to the proposed
removal of such weeds were presented;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Burlingame that the Superintendent of Streets of the
City of Burlingane that the Superintendent of Streets of the City
of Burlingame be, and he is=lereby directed to rerlove and
eradicate or cause to be re -moved and eradicated, suc'i ;-reeds as

described in the Resolution of Intention passed and adopted
herein on Ilebril;.ary 6, 1950;
And said Superintendent of Streets of said City of
Burlingame is hereby autlaori-ed and directed to fi1!_ the costs of
such removal and eradicat_Lon of iveeds, and in the event of any
delinquency of the payment of any of said costs, to report the
same to the City Clerk of the City of Burlingame so that said
costs may be collected in the manner provided by law.
