ACCEPTING THE BID OF L. C. ST,IITH CO., A
CORPOI:ATION, FOR THE CONSTRt'CTION ANID
I!STALLATION OF A FACILITY FOR PARKING ON
CITY 0VJUED PROPERTY 01l PRIMROSE ROAD
ViEREAS, THE CITY OF BURLIHGA:EiE, by and through its
Director of Public Works invited bidders to submit bids for the
o,radin, construction and surfacing of a parkin; facility on
U.
city owned property on Primrose Road near Burling ame Avenue; and
WHEREAS, bids were received until ei ght p.m, on r:°arch 20,
19bu, at which time the said bids tiviere publicly opened and it
was found that L. C. Smith Co., a corporation, was the lowest
bidder for the improvement to be ins talled;
NOW, THERE Mill BE IT RESOLVED, by -Lqe City Council of the
City of Burlingame., and it is hereby ordered that trie bid of
L. C. Smith Co., a corporation_, be accepted; the said corporation
to perform the work accordin-, to the plans and specifications
for the sure of 431, 817. 00;
BE IT r+ RTHER RESOLVED that the iayor of the City for and
on behalf of the City of Burlingame, sign the contract providing
for the improvement herein mentioned.
