Mrs. Cough explained that the c :.isting d,,fael ing has been neglected for a
number of years and it beyond repair. firs, Cough pointed out. `Ghat the

Questioned by Chairman Martins the Planning Consultant advised that the
property, located at Clarendon Road and _'eninsula Avenues is the first,
lot removed from the corner and adjoins the R-3 properties along
Peninsula Avenue, bro Mann protected reclassification of the one Lots
describing it as spot zoning and suggestedsas an alternatives reclassifi-
cation of all ?tots . in the area which are similtarlY located. biro ��iarrz
pointed out that the R®3 properties are used for single-family residences
and the question arises whether or not the area is properly zoned.
There was some dif fi�rence of opinion on the matter of spot zoning and
further discussion was postponed to the study meeting of May 12-, 1958, to
permit members to visit the neighborhood
20 RESUBDIVISION - Portion of Block 11, Town of Burlingame Subdivision,
The City Engineer submitted for review a map of a proposed Aesubdivislon
of a portion of Block 11, Town of Burlineame Subdivisions being a parcel
of land located at the northwest corner of the intersection of highlaad
Avenue and Ho�ward Avenue
Mr, Co Wilson Harder addressed the Commission and advised that he has
negotiated to purchase the parcel described on the map as 15 feet wide x
74 feet deep to be used as a side entrance way to the building, which he
owns adjoining said parcel on the north side-
Members discussed the proposal with hr. Harder and scheduled a public
hearing for the regular meetiY4., to be held April 28, 1958.

There was considerably disdussion concerning Street work and
