A special meeting was held on the above given date, all members
having previously consented. Meeting called to order at 8:00 p.m.,
Chairman Martin presiding.
PURPOSE OF MEETING:
Chairman Martin stated that the meeting had been scheduled for the
purpose of conducting a public hearing on proposed amendments to
the zoning ordinance and submitting recommendations on said amend-
ments to the City Council.
Chairman Martin turned the meeting over to Planning Consultant Mann
who proceeded with the reading of the amendments in detail:
to ) Add "Division 8-aA CONDITIONAL USES" end designate such uses,
20) Add to Division 2, Section 1903, DEFINITIONS, "Motel",
3.) Add Section 1930a "Regulations for "P" Districts,
(off-street parking),
4,0 Add Section 1953a "Minimum Set -backs in "M" Districts.
Considerable time was spent in review with some revisions made. A
motion introduced by Commissioner Finger to amend Section 1928,
subsection B, paragraph 4, to include "homes for the aged as
licensed by the proper State or County agencies", was lost for lack
of a second.
Mr. W. Frasier, representing the Pacific Gas & Electric Company, in
attendance, submitted a series of amendments suggested by that Company.
The City Attorney and the Planning Consultant were requested to pre-
pare the final draft of the amendments for City Council approval on
the basis -of the revisions as agreed.
There being no further business before the Commission, the meeting was
regularly adjourned at 11:00 p.m.
