Norberg Strivers Meeting called to order at 8:00 p.m.; Chairman Martin presiding FOR STUDY: 1. RESUBDIVISION - LOTS 6 and 9, BLOCK 29, TRILLS ESTATE NO. 7. .�. �N Myer, owner) Mr,. Jack Dovey, engineer, representing the owner, advised that the resubdivision has been requested to shift the common lot line between Lots 8 and 9 thereby permitting construction of a driveway along the southerly boundary of Lot 9. The City Engineer observed that the request should offer no problems and a public hearing was thereafter scheduled for the regular iveeting.. August 26, 1957. 2. RESUBDIVISION - PARCEL i'C@' LOT 19 BLOCK 1, UNIT NO, 1, IviILLSDALL INDUSTRIAL PARK. (Mrs. E. C. Mottashed, owner) Mr. Jack Dovey represented the owner and explained that permission is requested to divide Parcel "C", thereby establishing an additional parcel to be designated as "G", an area of 0.965 acres MoL, for resale purposes. A public hearing was scheduled for the regular meeting, August 26, 1957. 3. TENTATIVE MAP - "BARDES AYALA INDUSTRIAL PARK" (David and Oliver A. Bardes and Associated . Construction and Engineer Company, owners) Mr. Jack Dovey and Mr. Alexander, representing the owners, ad- vised that the proposed subdivision of 10.85 acres MolL will consist of a total of 11 lots, one large parcel and ten one-half acre par- cels. In reviewing the map, Commissioners expressed dissatisfaction with the excessive length of the cul-de-sac and requested that a "turn -around" be indicated on the map. BURLINGADIE MOTEL ADVERTISING SIGN. The Planning Consultant advised Comm+. ssioners that Mr. V atl,v Just, owner and operator of the Burlingame Motel, located on the Bayshore Service Road, had directed a communication to the City Council renevl- ing his request for permission to Insta,l_l an ele dt ric advertising sign on his property. Said communication was referred from the City Manager to this Commission for recommendation. Reference was made to an identical request submitted by Mr. Just some time ago. At that time, the City Attorney ruled that; the pro- visions of the ordinance code restrictLng advertising signs in residential districts precluded any au l on oar* the City to a .I i nit Mr. Just. Members individually indicated a desire to cooperate with Mr. Just but on the basis of the opinion expressed by the City Attorney the above -mentioned communication was directed to be re- turned to the City Manager with no recommendation.
