A oommunicatlon dated August 28s 1957,, was Tread from
Aorman do Sti.ene, City Manager, Toi:n of Hillsborough,, requesting that
the Planning Commission reconsider an action take;a. W-Ider date of
Decembe ° 12, 1954, whereby the City of Burlingame approved a resub-
divisi,on of the property of Leo Kriloff, 2315 Eaton Drive,, Burlingaae
The Planning Consultant advised that Mr. St sene ,.gas on vacation
and would not be present at this meeting,
Mr. Kriloff , in attendance, In response to Commission questioning,
advised that there is no access to the rear lot on his property from
Easton Drive and he had requested permission from the `sown of Hillsborough
to construct an access way into said lot over a parcel of land owned by
him within the Hillsborough limits. The City Council of Hillsborough
under date of August 27, 1957, denied his request,
Continuing, Mr. Kriloff requested a statement, from the members of
the Commission relative to Mr. Sti.ene°s request for a revocation of the
resubdivisiono
In discussing the matters Commissioners indicated that they would
not be in favor of rescinding the original action which approved the re -
subdivision,
Questioned by Commissioners, the PlanninL Consultant advised that
It was doubtful, that the Planning Commission has the authority, after
once approving a resubdivision, to arbitrarily change lot lines, except
where a request is made by the property owner,
The communication was thereafter referred to the regular meeting of
October 28, 1957, to permit Mr. Stiene an opportunity to be in attendance
and present his views.
