The minutes of the regular meeting of Aovember 25, 1957, Were corrected,
page 3, lime 3, to read "Tuesday, December 3, 1957", and approved as cor-
rected. The minutes of the study meeting of December 9, 1957, were ap-
c;roved as submitted.
PUBLIC HEARIAGS
A public hearing., scheduled. I.^ -onff ul—manc� ::o appropriate procedure„ was
conducted on the following;

An application, proposing a resubdivisloa of the lands of the Atlantic
Life Insurance Company (being the unreco ded acreat, within the Aills
Estate Subdivision), was submitted to the Planning Commission for ff'orrngl
consideration by Jack Van /.aadt of Wilsey and Hams representing the ap-
plicants. Said resubdivision proposed to establish two parcels, -to be
designated as 6 ii" and "B" .
In reply to questions from Commissioners, the Planning Consultant stated
that the proposal was a proper resubaivision, conforming to the land
pattern proposed in the tentative map of the area,
City Engineer Marr advised that there were no objections to the resub-
division; however, there were problems, particularly concerning water
service, which must be solved before any construction can be perMitted
City Attorney Karmel observed that these matters pertain to land use
and can be considered at the time that a use application is submitted.
There being no protests received, written or verbal, a motion was In-

troduced by Commissioner Diederichsen t-nat the resubdivision as sub-
mitted be approved. Motion regularly seconded and carried unanimously,

Planning Advisor Mann offered four charities and additions to the zoning
ordinance. All of the matters were discussed with the following act: -.on:
1. Reclassifying I.ntr� 1a15, Block 10, F1111s Estate 40. 3 from C-3
District (Professional vsiness) to Rai DIstrict t ]'hird Residential)

The matter of reviewing and studying the question of priority of capital
Improvements was decided by setting a special study meeting for
Wednesday, January 22, 1958.
PROPOSED ORDL4jt,4CE TO REGULATE PUBLIC HOSPITALS
A motion was made and carried unanimously that the proposed change in
the zoning ordinance$ providing for a C-4, Public Hospital Dlstr•ldt r
be resubmitted to the City Council with the deletion of the phrase
"residential buildings for employees° .
