M.; Chairman Henderson presiding. Minutes of the regular meeting of February 27, 1956; the special meeting of March 12, 1956; the study meeting of March 12, 1956, approved as written. The Chair announced that this was the time set for public hearings on certain resubdivisions, notice having been published as required. HEARINGS: 1. RESUBIDIVISION - Portion of Lot 3, Block 7, Unit No. 3 Millsdale Industrial Park. Trammell Crow and Edwin L. Cox Mr. Van Zandt of Wilsey and Ham advised the Commission that the resub- division is requested for sale purposes. The City Engineer stated the map had been checked by his office, and it was thereafter moved by Commissioner Mitchel that the resubdivision be approved as submitted, seconded by Commissioner Kindig and unan- imously carried.on roll call of members. 2. RESUBDIVIS1 N - Lot 89 Block 10, Mills Estate No. 3. Carl E. Ahlberg The City Engineer advised the Commission that the resubdivision in- volves the shifting of a let line and that the map had been verified by his office. It was thereafter moved by Commissioner Mitchell that the resubdivis- ion be' approved as submitted, seconded by Commissioner Kindig and unanimously carried on roll call of members. 3. RESUBDIVISION - Portion of Lands of R. P. Etienne Properties, Inc. The map of the proposed resubdivision, establishing 4 parcels of a total acreage of 1.44 acres, on the Etienne property between Rollins Road and Marston Road in the Easton Industrial area, was presented to the Commission. F Page #2 Planning Commission Minutes Meeting -March 26, f956 The Secretary read a communication from the Burlingame Civic Improve- ment Club, Inc., dated March 20, 1956, James Himmel, secretary, pro- testing the approval of the resubdivision map until adequate provis- ions for fill, streets and other necessary improvements had been made. Mr. Etienne advised the Commission that the property would be develop- ed in compliance with the requirements of the City Engineer. The City Engineer posted, f or Commission review, a map of the Indus- trial area, and it was determined that the k lot resubdivision as re- quested was a parcel of 1.!}!}. acres of a total acreage of 28 acres MOL. The question arose as to whether the proposed "RESUBDIVISION" was not in reality a "SUBDIVISION" as the parcel remaining, after the division of the 4 lots as requested, was in excess of 5 acres, and therefore subject to the requirements of the State Subdivision Map Act. It was thereafter moved by Commissioner- Martin that the matter be held until the City Attorney had opportunity to study and submit an opinion, seconded by Commissioner Kindig and unanimously carried on roll call of members. 4- SUGGESTED AMENDMENTS IN ZONING ORDINANCE - Sections 1911 ab, 1912, 1913 ab, 1915, 1921 ab, and 1914. The Commissioners received copies of the latest draft of the amendments and the Planning Consultant reported that all suggested changes were now incorporated. It was thereafter moved by Commissioner Martin that the Ordinance as revised be approved and submitted to the City Council for adoption, seconded by Commissioner Diederichsen and unanimously carried on roll call of members.
