The meeting was called to order at 8 t 00 P. M. , by Chairman of the
Planning Commission.
The minutes of the regular meeting of December 17, 1953, and the
study meeting of January 14, 1954, as submitted to members of the
Commission, were read and approved.
A communication from the San Francisco Bay Area Council, Inc. rel-
ative to its phase I of a report cofi the nature and scope of regional
planning in the Bay Area, was read. It was recommended that the
commission purchase 20 copies of this report at $1.50 each.
Received Resolution No. 2-54 from the City Council, which commended
the City Planning Commission, and its Planning Consultant Mr. George
A. Mann, for thdir efforts in scheming, designing and introducing
Burlingame City Ordinance No. 539.
Accepted tentative map from Wilsey and Company relative to develop-
ment of Mills Estate #1 (Map January r, 1954); said map to be held
for study meeting Febra ary":11, 1954.
An amendment (C-3A) to City Ordinance #539 was explained and sub-
mitted to the Commission for its consideration and recommendation.
This matter will be taken up at the study meeting on February 11,
1954, and a public hearing scheduled for February 25, 1954.
Zoning of the areas of Millsdale #1, which have not been reclass-
ified will be taken up at the study meeting on February 11, 1954
and a public hearing scheduled for February 25, 1954.
The Commission approved plans for an addition'to the present struc-
ture of the Holland Boat Works, Burlingame. ($6,000.00)
