The above mentioned report was received and held for further action
at the regular commission meeting on April 29, 1954. (Copy attached)
Planning Consultant Mann briefly discussed the "official" zoning of
Mills Estate No. 1 and Mills Estate No. 3. This matter was held over
for the May Study Meeting.
A communication was received from the City Treasurer relative to a
license being issued for the operation of an enterprise known as the
"Burlingame Guest House" to be conducted at 901-907 Burlingame Avenue.
Copies of legal notices regarding this sale and clipped from the "Ad-
vance -Star" were enclosed. The Secretary was instructed to inform the
intended purchaser, by mail, of the Commission's invitation for her to
appear before the Commission at its regular meeting of April 29, 1954,
to discuss the intended use of the aforementioned property.
The San Francisco Bay Area Council, Inc. invited, by letter, all
members of the Commission and others interested to a conference dinner
to be held by that body at 6 p.m. on May 7, 1954, at the Whitcomb
Hotel, San Francisco.
