RESOLUTION DECLARING ANDTHAT THATIWORK BE UNDERTION ETHEGS
ARE NOT REQUIRED,
IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 19110 AND THE IMPROVEMENT BOND
ACT OF 1915
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, that
it is the intention of said Council to construct, improve and re-
pair La Mesa Drive, Alturas Drive, and Margarita Avenue, by in-
stalling proper drains, replacing pavement bases, curbs and gutters,
surface drainage structures, catch basins, and to construct and
repair the sewer pipes, basins and manholes, and all other repairs
necessary for the improvement of said streets and sewers in the
subdivision known as Burlingame Manor; and
WHEREAS, more than 60% of the owners within the said sub divi
lion have filed with this Council written petitions for doing sai
work and waiving proceedings under the Special Assessment Investi
gation, Limitation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931; and
WHEREAS, the Council designates the Improvement Act of 1911,
and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, as the two laws under which
the said improvement should be carried on,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordered, found and determined as folio

FIRST: That more than 60% of the owners of the property
within the area of the proposed assessment district for the im-
provements, 'waivbd the making of the investigation proceedings
provided in the Special Assessment Investigations Limitation and
Majority Protest Act of 1931, for the work and improvement herein
provided to be done;
SECOND: That the Council proceed under the provisions of the
Improvement Act of 19119, and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, to
carry through the contemplated proceedings without any further
restrictions whatsoever by reason of the terms and provisions of
said Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority
Protest Act of 1931.
