ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF
LA MESA DRIVE AND MARGARITA AVENUE IN
BURLINGAME MANOR
RESOLVED by the City Council of the .City of Burlingame:
WHEREAS, the said City Council did on the 20th day of
August, 1951s adopt a resolution of intention, No. 45-51, to
order the vacation of a portion of La Mesa Drive and Margarita
Avenue in Burlingame Manor, situated in the City of Burlingame,
California, as shown on that certain map entitled "Burlingame
Manor Subdivision Map No. 1, City of Burlingame, County of San
Mateo, as recorded in Boob 26 of Maps, at Pages 15 and 16, in
the Office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo,
State of California," which map is on file in the Office of the
City Clerk of said city, and which portion to be vacated is
more particularly described as follows:
"BEGINNING at a point on the southeasterly line of
Alturas Drive at the intersection of Lots 18 and
19, Block 59 of the Burlingame Manor Subdivision
Map No. 1, City of Burlingame, County of San Mateo,
as recorded in Book 26 of maps at Pages 15 and 16,
in the office of the County Recorder of the County
of San Mateo, State of California, on the 12th day
of September, 1946, at 11:05 A.Wl.
THENCE from said point on said southeasterly line
of said Alturas Drive, running North 45° 48t 50"
West, a distance of 95.38 feet to the point of
beginning.
THENCE continuing along said southeasterly line of
said Alturas Drive North 450 481 50" West, a dis-
tance of 85.13 feet; thence North 52° 211 40" East
a distance of 303.08 feet; thence South 450 48t 50�'
East, a distance of 180.51 feet; thence South 520
211 40" West, a distance of 60.62 feet; thence North
450 48t 5011 West, a distance of 104.0 feet; thence
along the curve of an are of radius 30 feet, a dis-
tance of 42.94 feet to a point of tangency; thence
South 520 211 40" West, a distance of 181.84 feet;
thence along the curve of an arc of radius 30 feet,
a distance of 51.40 feet, to the point of tangency
with said southeasterly line of Alturas Drive, s aid
point being the point of beginning."

WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly published
land notices of its passage, entitled "Notice of Vacation of a
(Portion of La Mesa Drive and Margarita Avenue in Burlingame
r" were duly posted in the time and manner provided by law,
11 as appears upon the affidavits of publication and posting on
ile in the Office of the City Clerk of said city;
WHEREAS, the 17th day of September, 1951, at the hour of
(eight otclock, p.m., at the Council Chambers of the City Council
said city in the City Hall, was fixed in said ;resolution of
lIntention as the time and place when and where any and all
1persons interested in, or having arty objections to, said proposed
jvacation might appear before said Council and show cause why said
(portions of said streets hereinbefore described should not be
Ivaeated in accordance with said Resolution of Intention;
WHEREAS, no objections of any kind or character have been
(made or filed against said proposed vacation of said streets;and
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken evidence and finds
from all the evidence submitted that the portion of said streets
described in said Resolution of Intention, and herein described,
should be vacated and no longer used for public street purposes.
NOW, THEREFOii;, it is hereby ordered that the said portion
lof the said streets, has hereinabove described be, and they are
thereby, vacated.

I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk, do hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the
Burlingame City Council held on the 17th day of September, 1951,
by the following vote.
