CALLING FOR SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE WORK AND
IMPROVEMENTS TO BE MADE ON CERTAIN STREETS
AND SEATERS WITHIN THE SUBDIVISION KNOWN AS
"BU LI NGAME MANOR" WITHIN THE CITY OF BURLI NGA, ME
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame did on
the 29th day of August, 1951, adopt its resolution of Intention
No. 50-51, wherein it did provide for certain work and improvement}
to be made and an assessment and diagram to be confirmed with the
total and itemized assessment of the total costs and expenses
thereof all as more particularly set forth in said Resolution of
Intention.
NOW,, THEREFOR: , the Clerk of said City is hereby directed
to publish twice in the Burlingame Advance, a newspaper of general
circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City of
Burlingame and hereby designated by said Council for that purpose,
a notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work and
making the improvements described in said Resolution of Intention,
and referring to the plans and specifications on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by a check, pay.
able to the City of Burlingame certified by a responsible bank,
an amount which shall not be less then ten (10%) percent of
aggregate of the proposal, or by a bond for said amount and so
yable, signed by the bidder and two sureties, who shall justify
fore any officer competent to administer oaths in double the
t and over and above all statutory exemptions.
Said sealed proposals shall be delivered to the Clerl� of
aid City Council on or before 8 o'clock, p.m. on Monday, the lst
of Gctober, 1951, said time being not less than ten (10) days
the time of said first publication of said notice. Bids
11 be opened on said day and at said hour.

the foregoing resolution ms introduced at a regular meeting of
the Burlingame City Council held on the 17th day of S eptember,
1951, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
