ACCEPTING WORK DONE UNDER CONTRACT FOR
SEWAGE DISPOSAL PLANT EXTENSION
WHEREAS, it appears from the information furnished by the
City Engineer and the Consulting Engineer, pursuant to the
communication attached hereto, that all of the work under contract
for the extension of the Sewage Disposal Plant, and all extras
heretofore authorized by the City Council, has been completed and
was so completed on July 31, 1951, and that a notice of completion
has been filed in the Office of the County Recorder of the County
of San Mateo;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered
by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, that the work
authorized by the contract hereinbefore mentioned and the extra
work duly authorized has been satisfactorily completed and the
same is hereby accepted as of July 31, 1951.

Enlargement .. Completion
Please be advised that F. S• Rolandi, Jro, Into, 617 Montgomery Street
San Francisco, has completed their contract for the construction of
the Sewage Plant enlargement as of July 31, 1951.
A final inspection has been made by this department and we find that
the contractor has complied with all provisions of the contract;
therefore, a final acceptance is recommended.
Enclosed herewith are copies of the progress
able. Also submitted are two copies of the
duly signed and recorded by the City Clerk*

The payment for Extra Mork Order No* 2, requiring the furnishing and
installation of a new grit collector mechanism, amounting to approxi-
mately $59500*00 has been withheld from this progress payment due to
a delay in the delivery of material. The contractor has agreed to
make this installation when the delivery is made;at this time he will
receive payment for this work* It is not deemed equitable to withhold
acceptance of the entire project for the completion of this extra work.
The total cost of the entire project, including extra work, engineering,
consultant fees, and testing, approximates $141,000*00; $142,000*00
was budgeted for the project,
Resolution #14pa51 was enacted on February 50 1951, authorizing addi-
tional expenditures for some nine extra work orders, It is hereby re-
quested that another resolution be drafted and executed authorizing
five additional extra work orders for the expenditure of $1,364*07,
enumerated as follows:
Extra Work Order No 16: Installation of additional wall for the
ihloilnatlon room due to the deteriorated condition of the existing
wall; lamp sun cost $352000.
