ACCEPTING WORK DONE UNDER CONTRACT MCS-37
(WIDENING CALIFORNIA DRIVE BETWEEN ROSEDALE
AND DUFFERIN AVENUES) AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY ENGINEER TO FILE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reported to the City Council
that L. C. Smith, as Contractor, has fully performed and
completed the work required and specified in Contract MCS-37,
Providing for the widening and paving of California Drive between
Rosedale Avenue and Dufferin Avenue; that he has made a final
inspection and recommends that the work be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, by the City Council, that
the work required to be performed and completed by L. C. Smith,
as Contractor, for the widening and paving of California Drive,
between Rosedale Avenue and Dufferin Avenue, under Contract
MCS-37, be, and the same is hereby accepted, and the City Engineer
is hereby authorized and directed, for and in behalf of the City
of Burlingame to record a notice of completion of the work pre-
scribed in said Contract.

I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk, do hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 2nd day of July, 1951,
1by the following vote:
