HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 021-1951;l RESOLUTION NO. 88-51 ACCEPTING THE SUM OF $3,000.00 IN FULL SETTLEMENT OF LOSS TO BUILDING IN GUNST PARK WHEREAS, on November 26, 1950, a fire partially destroyed one of the buildings in Gunst Park;and WHEREAS, a dispute as to the indemnification for the fire loss and after negotiation with the General Adjustment Bureau, Inc., an agreement was entered into wherein the City Council agreed to accept the sum of $3,000.00 in full settle- ment of the loss sustained hereinabove mentioned; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED and ordered that the City of Burlingame accept the sum of $3,000.00 in full settlement and that the Mayor of the City of Burlingame be, and he is hereby authorized for and in behalf of the City to execute and deliver the proofs of loss to the General Adjustment Bureau, Inc., for the purpose of accomplishing the settlement and adjustment.
