GIVING NOTICE OF PM POSED ANNEXATION OF
UNINHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
WHEREAS, Clint S. Carter and Esther Carter, his wife,
Ray F. Renault and Vera I. Renault, his wife, having petitioned
for the annexation of certain uninhabited territory to the
City of Burlingame, which said territory is hereinafter
described and which is within the County of San Mateo and also
contiguous to the existing corporate limits of the City of
Burlingame; and
WHEREAS, the said petitioners are the owners of the
entire parcels of land in said territory as shown by the last
equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Monday, the 4th day of
June, 1951, at the hour of eight o'clock, p.m., in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Burlingame, County of
San Mateo, State of California, be, and the same are hereby
fixed as the time and place where the said City Council will
hear protests or objections to the proposed annexation, and any
person interested therein may appear beffore the said City
Council at the stated hour and place and show cause, if any
there may be, why said territory should not be annexed;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall
be published at least once a week for two weeks prior to the
hearing in the Burlingame Advance, a newspaper of general
circulation published in the City of Burlingame;
The territory hereinabove referred to is that certain real
territory situate in the County of San "Mateo, State of
California and more particularly described as follows;
Lots numbered 1, 2,4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in block
numbered 3, as shown on that certain map entitled
"Burlingame Hills, San Mateo Co., Calif.", filed
in the office of the County Recorder of San Mateo
County on July 7, 1913 in Book 9 of Raps at Page 2.
%OGEZHER WITH that certain strip of land heretofore
used as a lane or path, about 10 feet in width, and
lying in Block 6, said strip of land being bounded on the
east by Lots 4 and 8 and on the West by Lots 5 and 7 of
said Block 3
EXCEET ING, HOWEVER, from said Lot 2 that portion thereof
which is described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southerly side of Hillside
Circle as shown on said Trap, at the Northeasterly corner
of Lot 3; thence southerly along the easterly boundary of
Lot 3 and of Lot 9, south 50 59, 58, 113.24 feet to a point
on the northerly side of Easton Drive, as shown upon the
above mentioned map of Burlingame Hills; thence easterly along
the northerly side of Easton Drive on a curve with radius of
89.00 feet for a distance of 75.13 feet; thence leaving said
Easton Drive Noroth 5 551 10" East 80.38 feet to a point;
thence North 17 301 West 42.37 feet to a point on the
southerly side of above mentioned Hillside Circle; thence
Westerly gn a curve with radius of 220.00 feet through an
are of 21 291 09" for a distance of 82.50 feet to the
place of beginning.

foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted at
an adjourned meeting of the City Council held on the 12th day
of May, 1951, by the following vote:
