HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 016-1951SI RESOLUTION NO. 16-t* FIXING THE TIME FOR HEARING ON REPORT OF PREMISES AT 114 HOWARD AVENUE, BURLINGAME WHEREAS, it appearing from the report filed with the City Clerk by the Chief of the Fire Department, the Building Inspector of the City of Burlingame, and the County Health Department, that I d venue in the City of Burlin ame have the premises at 114 Howard A y g : become a menace to public health and safety by reason of unsanitary conditions of the premises and the depreciated condition of the building; SAS, it appears from said report that the s aid premises are unfit for human habitation, a menace to the public health and are a nuisance; NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that all persons interested in this matter, may appear before the City Council of the City of Burlingame, at the Assembly Chambers in the City Hall on May 70, 1951, at the hour of eight o'clock, p.m., of said day to show cause, if any, why the said premises should not be declared a nuisance and immediately abated; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be directed to s a copy of this resolution to the ov ner, Mrs. Sadie Alexander# 1266 20th Avenue, San Francisco, California, tan (10) days prior to the time set for hearing. 1JGLii iL • .LJL!' The old wood frame building is structurally unsound and most of the floors are listing; badly. The Harare in the rear is in even worse condition. At that time, a hearing was scheduled for May 7, 1951, at the hour of eight o'clock, p.m. in the Assembly Chambers in the City Hall, at which tine persons interested may appear.
