This year's Sycamore section will be completed by the end of March. 2. Ann'aal ... —Day ceremony :vas held March 7 at Bays.de Paa-k ..'here a gro.'e of Redwoods was planted. Eight Redwoods were donated by the Rotary Club, one by the Garden Study Club and one tree was planted as a memorial to Marcus Silva, a Parks Division employee who died in February. 3. Girls Softball opened league play at Ray Park. 4. Ray Park and Cuernavaca Park Restroom renovation projects are in the final stages. Stucco work has been completed, painting has begun, and new entry doors have been installed. Delays in completion will be weather related. 5. Spring Garden seminar occurred March 14 with speaker Matt Leddy. Recreation Division 1. Teens - Open gym at BIS had 70 kids. Ski Trip to Dodge Ridge had a full bus of 52 teens from Burlingame and Millbrae. YAC Dance on the 28h had 280 7f/8t' graders. 2. Lobby Gallery — Sold over $800 in artwork. 3. Preschool = i:rinmdeeiB,iyght of all the 4 year olds. 4. Seniors - Monthly Emeritus with Joe Marchi discussed "Musical Theater of 40's" for 50 seniors, Current Affairs with Eric Gattman had more than 30 people and History with Michael Svanevik had more than 35 people. 5. Youth Sports - hosted the ASA ACE Coaches Clinic. 55 girls softball coaches attended the training, including coaches from the Burlingame Girls Softball League. Upcoming activities: April 14 th -18 th Spring Break May 16' Burlingame Night at the Giants (Giants vs. Mets tickets are now available)
