FIXIidG AND ESTABLISHING WATER RATES
FOR THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1, 1951
WHEREAS, TiE San Francisco Water Department, which
supplies the City of Burlingame with water for all uses and
purposes has given notice that beginning February 1, 19b1,
the wholesale cost of water will be increased 35.6 per cent;
and,
WHEREAS, the Water Commission of the City of Burlingame,
together with the City engineer, have filed herein a report
and recommendation compelling the conclusion that the cost to
the consumer of all water supplied by the City's distribution
system should be increased proportionately with the increase
in rate fixed by the San Francisco Water Department; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, after due study and delib-
eration, have concluded that the cost of water supplied through
the City's distribution system, within and without the City's
corporate limits must be increased;
NOVJ, therefore, be it resolved and it is hereby ordered
and directed that the schedule of rates for water consumed
within the City, effective as of February 1, 1951, shall be
as follows:

Be it further resolved and it is hereby directed that
the schedule of rates for water consumed outside of the City,
effective February 1, 1951, shall be as follows:
