RESOLVED BY THE City Council of the City of Burlingame; that the contract, dated January 31, 1951, with Romeo Joly, for the management and control of the dump area near Broadway, be, and the same is hereby continued, pursuant to all the terms, conditions and agreements therein contained, for a period to expire Fbbruary 1, 1953. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to execute the attached memorandum of agreement providing for the continuation of the agreement aforementioned. Mayor - I, Herbert K. White, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Burlingame, held on the 7th day of January, 1952, by the following vote of the members thereof: AYES: COUNCI12 EN: Atwater -Byrd -Hunt -Love -Simonds NOES: CGUPICILB,IEN: None ABSENT COUPdCILivIEN: None, CITY CLERK MEMORANDUM OF A GREEDEUT THIS METAORANDUM OF A CREEII�ET made and entered into, by and between the CITY OF BUR LINGAIAE, a I:Tuni cipal Corporation, the First Party, and ROLMO JOLT, the Second Party. ',Ey ITNESSETH. WHEREAS, the Parties hereto entered into an Agreement dated January 51, 1951, wherein and whereby, the Second Part, agreed for the consideration therein named, to manage, watch and control, the dumping of rubbish and other material (garbage excepted), at the area at the end of Broadwa7, in the City of Burl ir_P;amle; and WHEREAS, the contract and relations of the parties hereto will expire February 1, 1952, and the-�r are now desirous of continuing the said relations and the said agreerient of January 51, 1951, for another year; NOVI, TLrEPX. SURE, in consideration of the mutual benefits accruing to each other, the parties hereto agree to continue in full .force and effect, each, every, all and singular, the specifications, covenants and agreements made and entered into between the said parties, and as evidenced by a writing dated January 51, 1952, IT IS +URTH"R A CREED, that the Second Party, will, by a sI�fficient surety, approved bar the City Attorn.ezr, indemn,_f','r the 11Irst Party against loss to person or property by anv act of the Second Party, and will also furnish a sufficient surety guaranteeing that the Second Party will perform and conform to all of the terms and conditions of the aforementioned Contract.
