HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 054-1952RESOLUTION NO. 54-52 DETERMINING AND DESIGNATING THAT THE INTER- SECTION OF BALBOA AVENUE AND RAY DRIVE; AND ALBERMARLE DRIVE AND RAY DRIVE ARE ARTERIAL STOPS FOR VEHICULAR TRAFFIC; DIRECTING THE STOPPAGE OF ALL TRAFFIC BE20RE ENTERING RAY DRIVE AND DIRECTING THE INSTALLATION OF APPROPRIATE SIGNS WHEREAS, The Chief of Police of the City of Burlingame, after a study $herefor, has recommended to the City Council that for the purpose of additional safety, all vehicular traffic driving and proceeding along Balboa Avenue into Ray Drive; and all traffic proceeding along Albemarle Drive into Ray Drive, be compelled to stop before entering into Ray Drive; and WHEREAS, the City Council after due consideration and study agree with and confirm the recommendation of the Chief of Police; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED: That all vehicular traffic proceeding along Balboa Avenue shall come to a full stop before entering Ray Drive; and all vehicular traffic proceeding along Albemarle Drive shall come to a full stop before entering Ray Drive. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the Chief of Police is hereby directed to make effective the order herein adooted and he is hereby authorized to procure and install such warning and direc- tion signs as may be necessary so to do..�; Andrew C.
