DIRECTING THE GIVING OF NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF BURLINGAME OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED
TERRITORY DESIGNATED "BURLINGVIRW TERRACE" AND FIXING
THE TIME AND PLACE WHERE ANY PERSON MAY APPEAR AND
SHOW CAUSE WHY SUCH TERRITORY SHOULD NOT BE ANNEXED
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Council
requesting; the annexation to the City of Burlingame of certain
new uninhabited territory, the boundaries of which are in said
petition and hereinafter described, and which is designated as
"Burlingview 'terrace," and which said new territory is situate
in the County of San Mateo, State of California, and is contiguous
to the City of Burlingame; and
WHEREAS, the said petition was signed by all of the owners
of the land of said area to be annexed and which said owners
represent all of the assessed value of said territory according
to the last preceding equalized assessment roll of San Mateo
County;
NOW, THEREFORE, Monday, the 24th day of November, 1952, at
the hour of 8 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City
Hall, in the City of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, State of
(California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where
all persons having any objections to the proposed annexation may
appear before the City Council of said City and show cause why
such territory should not be annexed.

BEGINNING at the most westerly
corner of the lands described in
deed from Panama Realty Co., a
corporation, to Burlingame Elemen-
tary School District, which deed was
dated March 10, 1930, and rceorded
March 27, 1930, in Volume 458 of
Official Records of San Mateo Coun-
ty, California at Page 425; thence
from said point of beginning westerly
along the common boundary line of
islands described in deed from Pana-
ma Realty Co., a corporation, to Sid-
ney C. Johnson and Ethel H. John-
son, his wife, which deed was dated
November 30, 1950 and which deed
was recorded December 1, 1950, in
Volume 1985 of Official Records of
San Mateo County, California, at
Page 546 and lands described in
deed from Panama Realty Co., a
corporation, to Charles A. Wi ig and
Elizabeth S. Wing, his wife, by deed
dated February 28, 1946 and recorded
March 16, 1946, in Volume 1242 of
Official Records of San Mateo Coun-
ty, California at Page 364, and on
the arc of a curve to the right, the
tangent to which at last mentioned
point bears N 87000' E, having a
radius of 80 feet and a central angle
of 10044'35", an arc distance of
15.00 feet; thence continuing along
said boundary line of lands of John-
son and lands of Wing the follow-
ing courses and distances: S 24035'
30" W 316.77 feet; S 32051'30" E

erly boundary line of a proposed 40
foot road; thence radially S 13029'

tinuing along the boundary line of
the Town of Hillsborough S 130 25'
E 351.16' to a point; thence con-
tinuing along said boundary of the
Town of Hillsborough on the com-
mon boundary of said lands of
Rickard and that certain map en-
titled "Hillsborough Hills" which
was filed in the office of the Coun-
ty Recorder of San Mateo County,
California, October 22, 1948, in Book

thence leaving said boundary of the
Town of Hillsborough and said com-

ly along the common boundary line

the point of tangency of the south-
erly line of said Canyon Road and

which was recorded in the Office

Maps at Page 2, said point of tan-
gency being a point on the north-
easterly boundary line of lands de-
crlbed in deed from Panama Realty
Co., a corporation, to Burlingame
Elementary School District, which
