HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 075-1952RESOLUTION NO. 75-52 COMMENDING THE SAN MATEO COUNTY COUNCIL OF BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA FOR ITS ACTIVITIES IN URGING THE VOTERS OF AMERICA TO VOTE AT THE GENERAL ELECTION, NOVEMBER 4, 1952 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, that the San Mateo County Council of Boy Scouts of America, and particularly the Executive Officers and Executive Board, be given official recognition and commendation for the very splendid effort that was made by the organization, through the several scouting units in the community to solicit the voters to vote at the GENERAL ELECTION held November 4, 1952. This effort is in keeping with the character and citizenship program so desirable in helping to develop the youth of America. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the San Mateo County Council. Andrew C. Byrd Mayor I, Herbert K.
