OF PIRELIVI.MARY APPROVAL QIF ENGINEERtS REPORT
CHAPIN AVENUE IMPROVEWENT
PROJECT NO. 52-48
RRSOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
C.,lifornia, that
WTUERFAS, on the 17th day of November, ,952., said Council did
adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 77-52 for the acquisition
and construction of street improvements in said City, and did
refer the proposed improvement to the Engineer of Work, he being
the officer having charge and control of the construction of public
improvementn in and for said City of the kind described therein,
and being a competent person employed by said City for that.
purpose, and did therein direct said Engineer to make and file
with the City Clerk of said City a report In writing all as therein
more particularly described, under and pursuant to the Municipal
Improvement Act of 19130 as amended;
iIHRREAS$ said Fngineer of Work has made and filed with
the City Clerk of said City a report in writing as called for In
said Resolution of Intention, and under and pursuant to said Act,
which report has been presented to this Council for consideration;
WHEREAS said Council has duly considered said report and
each and every part thereof, and find that each and every part
of said report is sufficient, and that said report, nor any part
thereof requires or Should be modified in any respect;

1, That the plans and specifications for the proposed
improvements to be made, contained in said report, be, and they
are hereby, preliminarily approved and confirmed.
2. That the Englneer'3 estimate of the itemixe6 and total
estim.ted costs and expenses of said acquisition and Improvements
and of the incidental expensess In connection therewith_, contained
in said report, bel and each of them are hereby prelimitwily

4, That the diagr n showing the assessment district refer-
red to and described in said Resolution of Intention, and also
the boundaries and dimensions of the reeppative subdivisions of
land within said assessment district as the sane existed at the
time of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, each of which
subdivisions having been given a separate number upon said diagram,
as contained in said report, be, and it is hereby, prelir"Inz a,rily,
approved and confirmred
That the proposed assessments upon the several. subdivi-
sions of land in said district in proportion to the estimated
benefits to be received by such, subdivisions, respectively, from
therefor., contained in sald report., be, and they are hereby,
preliminarily approved and confirmed,,
6. That said mport shall stand as the Engineer's report
for the purposes of all subsequent proceedings had pursuant to
said Resolution of Intention.
