RESOLUTION NO. 34 - 53
AWARDING TO FRANK W. S1 ITH, INC. CONTRACT
FOR RESURFACING CERTAIN STREETS IN THE
CITY OF BURLINGAKE DESIGNATED Ile' THE CITY
ENGINEER'S OFFICE AS "JOB 53 - 21"
WHEREAS, after inviting bids for doing the work of re-
surfacing certain streets in the City of Burlingame as designated
in the Office of the City Engineer as "Job No. 53-2.1;" and
WHEREAS, among the bids received, that of Frank W.
Smith, Inc. was accepted by the City Council; the amount of bid
being-1817,883;
NOW, THEREFORE, It is hereby resolved that a contract be
entered into with Frank W. Smith, Inc. providing for the per-
formance of the work referred. to; and the same is hereby
authorized to be signed by the 1'layor for and in behalf of the
City of Burlingame to execute saide ontract.

I, Herbert K. White, City Clerk, do hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 18th day of May, 1(?53, and adopted
thereafter by the following vote:
