ORDERING SALE TO RUTH M. BUREAU, A SINGLE WOMAN,
LOT 15, BLOCK 56, EASTON ADDITION NO. 5, OWNED BY
THE. CITY OF BURLINGAME
WHEREAS, the City Council after consideration thereof has
found and now declares that Lot 15, Block 56, Easton Addition
No. 5, in the City of Burlingame is no longer needed for any
municipal or public use, and having declared its intention to
sell the said real property; and
WHEREAS, notice inviting bids for the purchase of the afore-
said real property was given by the City Clerk by publishing
notice thereof; and
WHEREAS, Ruth M. Bureau, a single woman, submitted her
offer to purchase the said aforesaid real property for the sum of
44,266.00, and accompanied said offer with cash in the sum of
$426.60, and no other bids having been received; and
WHEREAS, the City Council in considering the offer to
purchase for the price mentioned deems the said offer to be
adequate, reasonable and fair market value of the said parcel of
land;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED, that the
offer of Ruth M. Bureau, a single woman, in the sum of 04,266.00
for the real property hereinafter described be, and the same is
hereby accepted;
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDERED that a conveyance of the
said real property be executed and delivered to the purchaser upon
the payment of the balance of the purchase price in cash and that
the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized for and in behalf of the
City Council to execute the deed.
The real property herein referred to is situated in the City
of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, State of California and
described as follower:

"Lot 15 in Block 56, as designated on the map
entitled "Map of Easton Addition to Burlingame
Number 5" which map was filed in the office of
the Recorder of the County of %pan Mateo, State
of California on August 15, 1911 in Liber 7 of
Maps at page 46."
Reserving, however, to the grantor herein, an
easement five feet in width extending along the
southerly boundary thereof for the installation
and maintenance of water and sewer pipes.

foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 20th day of July, 1953, and adopted
thereafter by the following vote:
