Mann be, and he is hereby employed as a Planning Consultant for the fiscal year 1953 - 1954, pursuant to the terms of the contract of employment hereto attached and made a part hereof. MANN AS PLANNING CONSULTANT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1953 - 1954 This agreement made in the City of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, state of California, this 18th day of August, 1953, by and between the City of Burlingame, a Municipal Corporation, the first party and George A. Mann, the second party. WITNESSETH: Whereas, an agreement between the parties hereto was executed on the 7th day of January, 1952, wherein and whereby the second party was employed by the first party as a Planning Con- sultant and Zoning Consultant, and to counsel, aid and assist the City Planning Commission in all matters appertaining to zoning and planning in the City of Burlingame; and Whereas, the aforesaid agreement is still in force and effect and the parties hereto are desirous of continuing the employment 6f said second party for the same purposes and uses specified in the said agreement of January 7, 1952 to which reference is hereby made and all of its provisions, except as herein set forth are made a part hereof. Now, therefore, in consideration of the premises, conven- ants and agreements herein stated to be kept and performed, it is mutually agreed as follows: 1. That the employment of the second party shall be on a part time basis so as to permit him to engage in any other F1Et t. occupation inconsistent with his employment hereunder. 2. That the second party will perform and render such services that may be required by the Planning Commission of the Cityor the City Council and re 1ar & study y , particularly attend all/metings of the Planning Commission, aid and assist the said Commission in matters that may come before it for its consideration and action. 3. That all of the terms of the agreement of January 7, 1952, not inconsistent herewith are made a part hereof. 4. That for the fiscal year 1953 - 1954, the compensation of the second party shall be 4150.00 per month and such other necessary reimbursement of expense which said second party shall incur in the performance of his duties connected with his employ- ment hereunder.
