MUNICIPAL BOND ELECTION DETERMINING
THAT PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY
DEZ:IAND THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL
IMPROVEMENTS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
State of California, that it be, and it is hereby ordered and
determined as follows:
Section 1. That the public interest and necessity demand
the acquisition, construction and completion of a swimming pool
together with appurtenances and facilities for its proper mainten-
ance and safe use and enjoyment, upon real property owned by the
City of Burlingame at Washington Park, Burlingame, California.
The estimated cost of the acquisition, construc-
tion and completion of the aforesaid improvement is $235,000.00.
Section 2. That said acquisition and improvement is necess-
ary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers
of the City of Burlingame.
Section 3. That the cost of said acquisition and improvement
will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and
revenue of the City of Burlingame, and that said acquisition and
improvement will require an expenditure greater than the amount al-
lowed by the annual tax levy, and will necessitate the incurring
of a bonded indebtedness.

ereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and
dopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
urlingame, State of California, held on March 1, 1954, by the fol-
owing vote of the members thereof:
