HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 014-1954RESOLUTION NO. 14-54 MUNICIPAL BOND ELECTION DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS. RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, State of California, that it be, and it is hereby ordered and de- termined as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and necessity demand the acquisition, construction and completion of an addition to the Police Station of the City of Burlingame together with appurten- ances and facilities for its proper maintenance and use. The estimated cost of the acquisition, con- struction and completion of the aforesaid improvement is $41,000.00 Section 2. That said acquisition and improvement is necess- ary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of the City of Burlingame. Section 3. That the cost of said acquisition and improve- ment will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual in- come and revenue of the City of Burlingame, and that said acquis- ition and improvement will require an expenditure greater than the amount allowed by the annual tax levy, and will necessitate the in- curring of a bonded indebtedness.
