14UNICIPAL BOND ELECTION DETERMING THAT
PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY DEMAND
THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COM-
PLETION OF CrRTAIN MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
State of California, that it be, and it is hereby ordered and de-
termined as follows:
Section 1. That the public interest and necessity demand
the acquisition, construction and completion of an addition to the
City Hall of the City of Burlingame together with appurtenances an
facilities for its proper maintenance and use.
The estimated cost of the acquisition, cons
tion and completion of the aforesaid improvement is $220,000.00.
Section 2, That said acquisition and improvement is necess
and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers o
the City of Burlingame.
Section 3. That the cost of said acquisition and improve-
nt will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income
d revenue of the City of Burlingame, and that said acquisition
d improvement will require an expenditure greater than the amount
lowed by the annual tax levy, and will necessitate the incurring
a bonded indebtedness.
