PROVIDING FOR SUBMISSION TO THE VOTERS OF
THE CITY OF BURLINGNME OF A PROPOSITION
THAT THE MEMBERS OF THE BURLIN(AME CITY
COUNCIL BE COMPENSATED FOR THEIR SERVICES.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
State of California, that it be, and it is hereby ordered and de-
termined as follows:
That at the general municipal election to be held in the
City of Burlingame on April 13, 1954, the following proposition
shall be submitted to the qualified voters of said City for their
approval or rejection, to rl t:
"Shall each member of the City Council of the City of
Burlingame receive as compensation for his services as
Councilman, the sum of $75.00 per month, save and except
the Councilman selected to serve as Mayor, who shall re-
ceive as compensation for his services the sum of $100.00
per month during the term of his mayoralty, such compen-
sation to commence May 1, 1954?"

I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame,
do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Burlingame, State of California, held on March 1, 1954, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: Councilmen: Atwater -Byrd -Love -Morgan -Simonds
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT Councilmen: None
