AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PAVING TO THE LOWRIE
PAVING COMPANY, INCORPORATED.
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the invitation of
bids for a contract to resurface certain city streets referred to
in specifications for resurfacing city streets in MCS 60- 64
inclusive; and

On April 5, 1954, the bids were opened before the City
Council and Lowrie Paving Co., Inc., a corporation doing business
at 1755 Evans Avenue, San Francisco, had submitted the lowest bid
for doing the said work for the sum of $40,911.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered
that the bid of Lowrie Paving Co., Inc., a corporation, for the
sum of $40,911.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder herein referred to, and the City
of Burlingame, for the performance of the work herein referred
to, and that the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized for and
in behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract.
