HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 067-1954RESOLUTION NO. 67-54 RESCINDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 23-47 and NO. 14-48 DESIGNATING CAPUCHINO AVENUE FROM BROADWAY NORTH TO LINCOLN AVENUE AND PALOMA AVENUE FROM LINCOLN AVENUE SOUTH TO BROADWAY AS "ONE-WAY STREETS". WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame on July 21, 1947, adopted its Resolution No. 23-47 designating Capuchino Avenue from Broadway north to Lincoln Avenue as a "one-way street"; and WHEREAS, said City Council on April 19, 1948, adopted its Resolution No. 14-48 designating Paloma Avenue from Lincoln Avenue south to Broadway as a "one-way street"; and WHEREAS, good traffic control now requires the reversal of traffic flow upon said streets; and WHEREAS, said City Council desires to effect said reversal of traffic flow by rescission of the resolutions hereinabove designated and by the enactment of an appropriate ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council that said Resolution No. 23-47, adopted by said City Council July 21, 1947, and said Resolution No. 14-48, adopted by said City Council April 19, 1948, be, and the same are hereby, set aside and rescinded.
