Regular Meeting of the Burlingame Parks & Recreation Commission
Thursday, March 15, 2012
The regular meeting of the Burlingame Parks & Recreation Commission was called to order by Chair
Hesselgren at 7:00 pm at Burlingame City Hall, 501 Primrose Ave., Burlingame.

MINUTES
The Minutes of the February 16, 2012 regular meeting were approved.
OLD BUSINESS
A. Cuernavaca Dog Off Leash Survey — Director Glomstad expressed concern that Council
may return the item to commission due to lack of adequate notice to the surrounding neighbors
regarding the recommendation of Commission prior to sending it to Council.
B. Washington Park Dog Off Leash — Update - Glomstad reported Council will hear the item
at the Monday, March 191h council meeting.

Staff Reports
1. Monthly Report — Distributed
2. Field Use Policy Review — Glomstad reported the second meeting with the user groups went
well. Discussion revolved around the residence priority issue and additional discussion regarding
allowing staff the ability to massage the policy to accommodate the users. Another meeting has
been scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, 2012.
3. Correspondence — Received: Email from Ray Park resident and a picture.
4. Spring/Summer Recreation Brochure

Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Parks & Recreation Commission is scheduled to be held on Thursday, April
19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at Burlingame City Hall.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:40 pm.
