AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF OFF-STREET
PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the invitation of bids for a contract
for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools and equipment required for
the construction of improvements in parking lots D, E, J, L and N, within the
Burlingame Avenue Area Off -Street Parking District, City of Burlingame, County
of San Mateo, State of California; and
WHEREAS, on September 3, 1963, all bids received were opened before the
City Manager and the Director of Public Works, and THE LOWRIE PAVING COMPANY,
INC., a corporation submitted the lowest responsible bid for doing the said
work for the sum of $42,959.30;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered that the bid of
The Lowrie Paving Company, Inc., a corporation, for the sum of $42,% 9.30 be,
and the same is hereby accepted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the successful'
bidder hereinabove referred to and The City of Burlingame for the performance
of said work, and that the Mayor be, and she is hereby authorized for and on
behalf of The City of Burlingame to execute said contract.

Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
the 3r4 day of September, 1963, and adopted thereafter by the following
vote:

ABSENT Councilmen: Lorenz
