HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 037-1963RESOLUTION NO. 37-63 REQUESTING THE STATE DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS TO ADD ANOTHER LANE TO THE BAYSHORE FREEWAY FOR TRAFFIC MOVING SOUTH FROM BURLINGAME WHEREAS, there are four lanes for southbound moving traffic on the Bayshore Freeway up to Burlingame; and WHEREAS, only three lanes exist for the southbound traffic past Burlingame; and WHEREAS, such conditions add to the already existing congestion at Broadway; and WHEREAS, the southbound traffic cuts off the Freeway and uses the Service Road as a lane for moving south; NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Burlingame: Section I: That the State Division of Eighways is herel requested to construct an additional lane for the Freeway traffic moving south. Section II: That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Mr. Joseph Sinclair and the State Division of Highways. CHARLOTTE JOngi5ON - Mayor I, Herbert K.
