HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 040-1963:RESOLUTION NO. 40-63 REQUESTING CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY COMMISSION TO CONSENT TO CONNECTION OF TROUSDALE DRIVE WITH SKYLINE BOULEVARD WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame has heretofore approved the tentative subdivision map of that certain subdivision of land within the City known as Mills Estate No. 19; WHEREAS, Trousdale Drive is a public street in and a major traffic artery of the City of Burlingame; WHEREAS, Trousdale Drive is proposed to be extended and connected to Skyline Boulevard, a state highway, as it is shown on said tentative map and also as it is shown on that certain final map entitled "Mills Estate No. 19 Burlingame San Mateo County, California", dated May, 1963, prepared by George S. Nolte Consulting Civil Engineers, Inc., and as it is also shown on certain improvement plans entitled "Improvement Plans for Mills Estate No, 19", dated May, 1963, and prepared by George S. Nolte, Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor; and WHEREAS, the consent of the California Highway Commission is requisite to the connection of said public street to said stat4 highway; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY i'ESOLVED that the California Highway Commission be, andit is hereby, requested to consent to the connection of Trousdale Drive, a public street, with Skyline Boulevard, a state highway, at grade, as shown by the final map and by the improvement plans referred to in this resolution. r I, Herbert K.
