HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 021-1963RESOLUTION NO. 21-63 A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION AND TAKING A CERTAIN LOT OR PARCEL OF LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF PUBLIC OFF-STREET PARKING AND DIRECTING THE COMMENCEMENT OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, California, that: WHEREAS, it is the intention of this City to construct and install public off-street parking facilities upon the real property hereinafter described. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, DETERMINED AND ORDERED, as follows: 1. That the public interest and necessity require the acquisition of the real property hereinafter described for the purpose of improving and maintaining said real property as a public off-street parking lot. 2. That BURRESS KARMEL, City Attorney, of the City of Burlingame, and the law firm of Messrs. WILSON, HARZFELD, JONES and MORTON, San Mateo, California, employed for that purpose, be and they are hereby, directed to institute and conduct to con- clusion an action in eminent domain for the acquisition of said real property in fee. 3. Said real property is described as all that certain lot, piece or parcel of real property particularly described as Lot 1, Block 15, as designated on the map entitled "Map of Burlingame Grove, San Mateo County, California", which map was filed in the Office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, State of California, on July, 16, 1906, in Book "B" of Maps at Page 30, and a copy entered in Book 4 of Plops at Page 46.
